Fitzhugh Cinnabar

The original (circa 1785) of this design was named for the founder of the East India Company which was the first company to export porcelain from China. It features the traditional Chinese design elements: butterflies, honeycombs and flowers. Historically this pattern was produced in cinnabar or Chinese red. Often these designs are seen in Cobalt related to Blue Canton ware.
